Is this bike carrier any good?

Out of pure chance, I spotted this bike carrier on micksgarage.ie. I've been looking for a towbar mounted carrier for 4 bikes for some time.

Has anyone got one / know someone who's got one, and if so, what they are like? As 4-carrier towbar mounts go, this seems to be good value...

Are you looking to put adult bikes on it ? Looked at that model only thing is you would have to tie all the bikes together and have them in such a way the cranks and pedals arent scrapping a.nd banging off bike next to it. I've seen the other type where their mounted underneath wheels.

Thanks for that. Will be carrying 2 adults and 2 kids bikes, but not for long distances. The other type you mention is a bit like a "drive on" type carrier which have their own indicator and brake lights. They are about 3 times the price of the one above, plus my car isn't wired for the electrics...

Do they accomadate kids bikes ? 3 times the price that's steep. God I have a rack only accommodates 1 adult bike thankfully :)
