Songs that were ruined for you by movies

Someone mentioned in the 80's music thread that The Wedding Singer ruined a few songs for them. I couldn't remember that myself, but for some reason Goodbye Horses is in my head this afternoon, and I suppose that's not even a good example because I only know the song from Silence of the Lambs but still it's just not good.

So, if you would like to share, please tell me: Which songs have been ruined for you because they are now associated in your mind with some movie that you'd rather not think of every time you hear the song?

The Funeral For Queen Mary - a musical piece composed in the 17th century - was used in A Clockwork Orange.

Celine Dion's "My Heart Will Go On" was ruined by the over sentimentalist crap that was Titanic.

Actually I like it when a song or classical tune I love pops up in a movie ie ,

Cavatina, by John Williams ( the Deer Hunter)

The Ride of the Valkyries, by Richard Wagner ( Apocalypse Now )

The end of Claptons, Layla (Goodfellahs )

It's when they just use then as quick snippets in between dialogue that's a bit annoying .

Yeah sometimes it works well. Monkey Man in Goodfellas is a good example of that IMO.

And they ruined and lovely lovely Ludwig Van!

I begged that chellovic Kubric to stop, but he said it was out of his rookers and perhaps there was an element of punishment in it after all.

    Oh children -- Nick Cave

In Harry ****ing Potter of all places... So pissed off about that .. It was my favorite Nick cave song and I youtubed it one day and realized it was in it from all the comments. To make matters worse I went to see the movie then and didn't have a clue what what going on because I had not see all the previous ones.. :(

The producers got some taste though I must say, and I bet the movie would have been great if I knew what was going on ..

Not a movie but countless hospital dramas have ruined 'How to Save a Life' by The Fray. Ok, it wasn't a great song before it was released but now I have to hear it much more often :o

    Don't Stop Believing by Journey.

Was seriously ****ing ruined for me by the Xfactor/Glee.

Twilight using Super Massive Black Hole. Alright, it wasn't one of Muse's finest, but that Mayer women going on about Muse being her favourite band (fair play to her though!) gave a lovely influx of "OMG I LUV MUSE SUPRRMASSIV BLAK HOLE IS AWESOME!1!"

    :pac:
