Can I rent a room in my house out if I am on disability benefit?

I would like to rent a room out in my house to try and help pay my credit union loan. The rent will not cover the monthly repayment. Can I still claim my disability benefit if I do? Thanks

Yes...but you will have to declare it when your benefit is means tested which could affect the amount you get in future
