Flat roof cold/warm? With Attic space

My house has a pitched roof with a flat roof on the rear and on the front. Is there any point in making the flat roof a warm roof when it joins into the attic space? The attic space would be a cold space so the warm flat roof wouldn't be warm. Could i partition the pitched and flat roofs and slightly ventilate the flat…
