Theres less spin with the driver & irons with prov1x wont slice as much but over all there pretty much the same thing..

ProV all the way for me but havent tried the penta keep meaning to but keep picking up Prov

All the soft 3-4-5 part balls are useless as soon as the winter comes in..

Much better getting a decent harder ball like the titlest so-lo, get better distance and because greens are soft that counteracts the ball.....simples

i always use prov 1s but i played in a junior scratch cup in rathsallagh with top golfer and they gave out a box of the callaway iz tour and i have to say i really liked them! havnt even priced them but would be willing to switch if the were better value!

I like the Pro V1 but personally find that the Penta:

    1. Goes a little further
    2. Lasts much longer
    3. Like the feel off the putter

If your thinking of playing one of the above best advice would be to get a sleeve of each and take them onto the course / practice area and try them out and see which works best for you.

There was a big supplement on golf balls in this months Today Golfer. In the test they conducted 3 of the four testers where longer off the tee using a softer "premium" ball.

Srizon Z star during spring/summer and a harder ball during the winter maybe the AD333 or the NXT
