Internet Problem - DNS Look-up

My internet has been playing up recently, we got a new wireless router and a new power box for the modem from the ISP which solved one problem but now I keep getting this message when I try to change page.

"The server at www.xxxx.com can't be found because the DNS look-up failed. "

I just reload a few times and it connects but this is very annoying every time I try to change page.

    Hi.

What Browser are you using? Have you tried a different browser? E.G. Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome or Opera?

What OS are you using? If you are using Windows Vista or Seven,
    Also,

    Then,

Go to Control Panel and open "Network and Sharing Center" (Or Right Click on your WiFi icon down on the taskbar (Beside the clock))

On the sub-menu (on the left), Click on "Change Adapter Settings"

Find your network connection and Right Click on it.

    Click on "Properties"

Open "Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4)" by double clicking it.

Click on "Use the following DNS server addresses:"
and type in 8.8.8.8 make sure you do that right, Click each box seperately to type in the "8".

    In "Alternate Server" Type 8.8.4.4

Click "Validate settings on exit" and then click ok twice.

After this, Windows Will run Windows Diagnostics and check for errors..

    Hope it helps..

I did that and got a message saying "DHCP is not enabled for wireless connection - Fixed."
Does this sound like it was my problem?
    Hopefully so.
    Thanks.

Windows 7 on Chrome by the way. Dident work on IE either.

After that, Reboot the router/modem and PC.

    Download Firefox.

Chrome may be the culprit. Unusual that it is also happening in IE. Unless it's an older version of chrome, that is wrapped around IE.

Clear the caches, of all browsers.

    Scan for Malware, using Malwarebytes

Update to the newest Firmware, for your router.

It could be your router.. Could be a couple of things.. What make is the router?
