Tánaiste Eamon Gilmore has said the Government is "annoyed" by comments of Juergen Stark, who called for cuts in public sector pay in Ireland.

Inventing new agendas isn't helpful," Mr Gilmore said.

well holy cow. at least someone is suggesting "something", this coming from the guy who dioesnt seenm to have an agenda or voice. Of course the government is "disappointed", arent we all?
Now go and tell someone who can square up, and not the media.

    also:

He said legislation was needed to establish a statutory basis for setting wages in the private sector, following the High Court ruling which deemed JLCs unconstitutional.

threy were quick enough to push through a rule in very short notice where my pension has been dipped. get your finger out and do it if your going to do it Eamonn. Uncertanty - keep it coming.

Wouldn't really expect Labor to claim that it was a good idea TBH.
