Sea Kayaking in West Cork

    Hi All,

    I am taking some holidays in a couple of weeks down in West Cork, will be based in Bantry but am interested in anywhere from Skibereen to Kenmare.

    Any advice on some good day trips in a sea kayak in this area? The whole area looks really nice but any advice would be greatly appreciated.

    I am pretty fit and experienced so short crossings would be fine, only one driver so put in/take out will be from the same spot. Anything up to about 30/40km would be good.

    Are there any particularly interesting/stunning areas of coastline around here?
