I was over in America recently and tried a little airsoft. One cool thing I noticed over there was that the guys were using these at4's to take out houses.
Basically if the other team were holed up in a shed, you could bring out the at4 and shout to the marshall that your firing at the shed. The marshall will call your shot and anyone in the building is out of the game.
There are two versions, one version fires BB's and retails at $600 and another is an empty version that is an empty tube straight through the inside and sells for $400.
I brought home the $400 version with me.
It has fully working pop-up sights and the push-button trigger, also has foldable shoulder stops and a foregrip and has a carry sling. And also has the typical American step-by-step instruction sticker on the side.
    Will sell it for €300

Offer €100euros, as it is an empty tube after all ;)

€100 would be too low. I paid €200 euro for it myself with the aim of selling it on as it is rare to come by here. So for that reason I can only go as low as €250

Is this a real steel used AT4 Shell or a Airsoft toy reproduction? Have seen a couple of these used in similar fashon for rooms in houses or bunkers on a site in kilkenny.

if it's a spent inert tube, then it's worth a lot more then 100.
same question as Rogue Spear aswell,

the one i have here is all green, yours is green and black,
if its a spent tube, i know somebody interested in one.

    as an aside,
using them as bunker busters is actually not really realistic as they wont actually take out a building, and can be rather ineffective at firing through windows to take out a room of targets.

There were a couple of reports that this thread was breaking the profiteering rule so I better explain.

Profiteering only applies where something that is either rare or highly sought after is being sold at over the retail / market value. The rule was originally written to stop ticket touts on adverts and people selling x-boxes for double their worth a week before xmas.

I can see why people have concerns over this but I don't believe it's profiteering in this case (unless someone can point out a retail value here).

Satisfy yourself as to it's worth before making an offer.

    Thanks.

Thanks for your input, Ever fired one?? Ever trained on one or even googled AT4??? Don't want to get into a boards debate about this but on what facts are you baseing this info on. Here are some real facts.
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:AT4_HEAT_and_AT8_Bunker_Busting_Projectile.jpg
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AT4
with particular attention to (HEDP 502 (High Explosive Dual Purpose)) and AT8 versions. For use against bunkers, buildings, enemy personnel in the open and light armor. The projectile can be set to detonate on impact or with a slight delayed detonation. The heavier nose cap allows the HEDP projectile to penetrate light walls or windows and then explode, or "skipped" off the ground for an air-burst. Bunker busting is this weapon systems bread and butter!! It may have started out as a Anti Tank system and its more so a light anti armour weapon system but it adapted beyond that. I usually avoid responding to the sometimes pure nonsence I read here on boards but almost everything in your Quote is wrong!!
Heres even a video with mack!!

his asking is less then the going rate from what i've seen.
and he isnt doing it en mass either.

basing it off what i read in an old at4 user handbook.
it states it is not recommended as it is not as effective as other methods of assaulting those positions.
i wont argue with it, as i was just posting what i had read from the manual but thats cool, if its wrong i stand corrected. i've no personal expierence to base it off

Guys, please start a thread in the main forum if you want to discuss it's merits in the field.

Lets keep this to sale related posts only, anything else breaches the threadspoiling rule. :)

Yes this isnt an airsoft made version. Its a spent inert tube. The airsofters in texas buy them from the bases to use in airsoft as the military just throw the empty cases away with all the brass casings and that.
Its not steel or plastic by the way, its fibreglass.
There are airsoft versions where a firing mechanism has been inserted into the tube but this isnt that.

Im not sure about green and black and green and green versions. But looking on youtube and google images, it seems they use both.

If it isn't an airsoft version then I wouldn't touch it!! Questionable legality?? even though its a spent rocket tube. How did you even import it into the country? Can't see customs allowing that. They stop airsoft toys but allow a military rocket tube through. and if its a spent SRAAW tube from ireland then you definately shouldn't have it!!

Think sraaw's are slightly wider then AT-4's and thats not possible irish army collects and recycles everything they shake us down for brass at the end of every camp :pac:

It was posted from america, the same way most of the other tubes that are used in airsoft here were brought in.
Most airsoft at4s were made from old used tubes also, they just fit them with a basic firing mechansim.

A SRAAW IS an AT4. but the funniest part of this statement is "thats not possible irish army collects and recycles everything" What army are you in, its not the same one as me.. Maybe Privates in the FCA get shaken down for brass at camp but the rest of us "Acquiring" is part of army life. "you say thats not possible" Its more than possible!!! But this Item dosen't look loke a defence forces SRAAW
