    St.John Ambulance, Cabinteely's

    Divisional Open Day

    Sunday September 25th, 2pm - 5pm


    Are you aged 16 or older?

    Have you got some spare time on your hands?

    Then why not volunteer with St.John Ambulance Cabinteely?


    St.John Ambulance Cabinteely is holding an open day on Sunday September 25th

    between 2pm and 5pm in our Divisonal HQ :


    Cabinteely Football Club, Churchview Road, Killiney (300 mtrs from Tesco
    Ballybrack) for members of the public who want to find out more about what St.John Ambulance does, who want to learn or refresh their First Aid Skills or who want to volunteer with St.John Ambulance.


    Members of St.John Ambulance come from a huge variety of backgrounds and members include Electricians, Nurses, Child Minders, Paramedics, Accountants, Surgeons, Retail Staff, Students and all are dedicated to helping those who require our training when and if required.


    Volunteers initially are qualified in First Aid upon completion of a course in basic first aid and are offered the opportunity to advance within St.John Ambulance to have skill levels such as Cardiac First Responder, Emergency First Responder and Emergency Medical Technician. All of these courses are fully approved and certified by Pre-Hospital Emergency Care Council (PHECC).


    Did you know that voluntary members of St.John Ambulance are in attendance at events held in Aviva Stadium, Croke Park ,and have covered every single Dublin Marathon since 1979? They are also in attendance at Leinster Rugby matches in RDS, Electric Picnic and Slane Castle.


    This is in addition to covering local events such as Seapoint Rugby Blitz, Cabinteely FC Mini World Cup, Hibernia Trophy (International Underage Football) , DLR Community 5km Fun Run, DLR 10km Run.


    So why not drop in on Sunday 25th to have a chat, have a look around our

    Ambulance, enjoy a cuppa and learn some first aid skills!
