    My Top five . . . . .

London = Massive, soo big & so much to do & see, and so very close to us too!
Edinburgh = Compact & interesting, specially during the fringe, Great Castle also.
Wells = Hardly a City at all really, but quite beatiufully formed, bustling market.
Bath = Another small City, steeped in Roman hsitory, beautiful place to visit.
Belfast = Nice & compact 4 a day trip, Harland & Wolff, Titanic 1/4, City hall.

Thats my top five, what are yours & why?

Windsor is well worth a visit, plenty to keep someone amused for a day and good night life and eateries for the evening.

    Bath, as already mentioned.
    Iron Bridge
    Stratford upon Avon
Portsmouth (or more precisely Southsea and old Portsmouth, the main city isn't all that attractive).

    1 Edinburgh
    2 Brighton
    3 Liverpool
    4 London
    5 Manchester

I've had great times in all of those cities but I'm in love with Edinburgh, going again next week for a weekend trip. Bath is lovely too as mentioned, it's a beautiful place to visit.
