iPod Touch album splitting issue

Hey, just wondering if someone can help with an issue I'm having with my iPod Touch. For some albums, they appear split on the iPod. So, for example, in Bob Marley & the Wailers, 3 of the albums show up twice. In one, it has the first track of the album, and in the other, all other tracks. Its the first song in each case that gets split from the rest. I've checked the info tab for these, and they are listed all the same, so I can't understand why they are showing up like this. It is the same with some other albums for different artists, but I'm just using this as an example. So, just to give a better idea of how it looks, on the artist screen when I choose Bob Marley & the Wailers, it lists the albums like this:

    Burnin
    Catch a Fire
    Confrontation
Exodus (contains just the first song on the album)
    Exodus (all other songs)
    Kaya
    Natty Dread
Rastaman Vibration (contains just the first song on the album)
    Rastaman Vibration (all other songs)
Survival (contains just the first song on the album)
    Survival (all other songs)
    Uprising

Ayone experienced this, or have an idea to remedy it?

    Cheers

I've had this problem, but rectified it by going through the info with a fine tooth comb, found that sometimes the album artist and artist were different, or the composer was different. Still couldn't fix it for some songs though.

Are you viewing the info on iTunes or editing the info?

Is there any variation of the artist or the spelling of the artist name in any of the track information? For example could one be under "Bob Marley" and anothe rone under say "Wailers" or is the album artist different in any of the titles?

This usually happens if the "part of compilations" is ticked in the song info. Untick it, and say no. You should find they all consolidate into one folder then.
