I need a VW Garage to take a look at traction control in my car, Is there any VW garages to avoid or any good reasonably priced ones out there? or are they all the same really? In or around the city is fine! Thanks:)

Autowerks in Midleton are VAG specialists if you're not under warranty. I know a few people that have been and they said that the service and price was excellent.

Blackwater Motors' branch at Victoria Cross seem reasonably priced, they're advertising full services for €199 and 1.9TDi timing belt and water pumps for €440. Never used them for anything. A friend used Kevin O'Leary in Douglas for issues with his TT, dunno about the price but he reckoned they knew their stuff, the same chap knows next to f all about cars aside from what he sees on TopGear etc though :)

Newmarket Motors are supposed to be decent as VW dealers go.

I know a extremly good indy in Mallow if that suits. He knows VAG stuff very well.

Main dealers like Newmarket will rob you.

Blackwater Motors are good if everything is going smoothly. For a basic service then they'd be fine in my opinion. I've got some stuff done in Noel Deasys too and the were sound lads. Not sure if they're prices are as competitive as BWM though.

Mallow would be a bit far, Id say ill go to backwater since a couple have mentioned them. My problem is traction control and abs lights came on and were stuck on, now they don't come on at all and abs and traction control is not working. Also the hand break light is flashing and I get 3 beeps. Hopefully not 2 expensive but I'm preparing for the worst!
