Ah you just started college. You will meet a lot of people trust me :) just talk to your classmates and go out and have a good time. :)

PS: Don't fall into the trap of always drinking and parting.

You see there you go :). Going to party in Dublin? Wont that cost you a fortune? Do it if you can afford it :)

What I've found with my course, is that we've been pushed to get too know everyone in the class, and so far, it's worked pretty well. Everyone is friendly, so you'll have no trouble finding a nice big group to hang out with.

On the 21st (I'm not 100% on the date) the college has a Society day on. So sign up to a few and you'll be sorted for the year.

Start getting to know the people around you in the classes is the big thing I think. I already know a few in the college from living in Carlow, but I've gotten to know loads more in the last week.

ah dont worry, you get to know ppl in carlow very quickly especially by living with people and then more and more tend to come and go at the house well thats was my experiences last year and i only knew one person going down there
