Acer Revo vs Dell Zino

I'm thinking of buying either the Acer Revo RL100 or the Dell Zino HD 410.

I'll be using it mainly to watch downloaded films & tv shows.
I want something with it's own internal storage rather than a media player that you connect a USB drive to or one that streams content.
I want a nice interface too (cover art etc..) so I'll probably install XBMC or Media Portal.
I might watch the odd YouTube video or something on 4oD.

The Dell has 4GB RAM & 1TB HDD vs 2GB & 500GB HDD for the Acer.
The Acer looks a bit nicer & comes with a wireless keyboard/mouse pad.
They seem to be the major differences as far as I can see & honestly I think both will be fine for what I want.

Just wondering does anyone have any personal experience with either?
Or anyone have any thoughts on why one would be better than the other?

Any other alternatives on the market that are better? Or anything similar that costs less?

    They are both very expensive.

You can get a eMachines er1401 for about €220-250. Check laptopsdirect.ie and also saveonlaptops.co.uk. link link. They both ship to Ireland for about a tenner I think.

Slightly different models on each site, the saveonlaptops model is the better one - slightly more ram/hdd plus a wireless keyboard/mouse.

Would you consider building something yourself?

    Thanks for the links.

I did think about it but I'd prefer to just buy one.

I am in the same situation and was almost about to buy either dell or the acerbic. I then did a little research and found this is soon to hit the shops

Looks like a great size and should be a bit more powerful (about 15% apparently but better graphics)

    I have a Zotac AD10. It's a great little device for XBMC.
