This isn't really a big problem for me but I'd like to know why this is happening.

Every time I take out my airsoft rifle and put the battery in, I have to pull the trigger once so it makes a "click" sound, which I can then fire my airsoft rifle, and then when I put it back onto safe and then need to fire it again, I have to do the same thing again and again and again...

Even without the battery in the airsoft rifle, I still have to do it.

Just wondering if it could be something in the gearbox like the anti-reversal latch?

    Thanks.

I reckon the cut off lever is not disengaging properly.

    It's an A.P.S. ASR103.
