    Hi all,
I hope this you'll find this topic interesting. We as Irish do enough talking about the weather so lets take some pictures of it. Sun, wind and rain, whatever we get over the next two weeks.

    The rules:
-Photos must be posted within 2 weeks of the day the task was set– so the closing time/date is midnight on Sun 25th Sept going on 26th Sept 2011.
-No old photos. Only photos taken with this task in mind qualify.
-Therefore, the photo must be taken after 12.00pm on the 11th Sept 2011.
-Photos must be on the given task.
-ONE photo per post. But submit as many posts as you like.
-Stretch yourself – there is no limitation to what you can do to produce the image.
-The next task/subject is to be chosen by the person who has the most thanks after their post at the closing date/time (the post must include a photo).

    Good luck everyone!

Yep I reckon so - I knew someone from the West Coast would win it with the current weather we're having!

Wow - I've been following the Challenges for good while and cannot remember anyone ever getting 27 votes in just over one day.

    A great photo - a great achievement

( but why wasnt there a kid hanging on for dear life to the rail )

Hi guys, there's another 6 days left in this challenge. I'm just wondering do you just want to call it now or let it run to see how many thanks foto joe can actually get? Does anyone know the record?:D

I would love to see the original photo and an explanation of the post processing used by fotojoe. As a beginner photographer I'd love to see how the progression from original photo went and also what was done to it to make it look so dramatic (contrast, brightness settings, etc). I know thats probably a bit off topic though.

With regard to the competition it should probably run its course to see what others come up with as other good shots will come up also such as Promac's.

I'd say let it run, I'm sure people have ideas for shots but haven't got a chance to get out and take them yet. Wouldn't be fair to end it early.

jonniebgood1 - I'll post the original and processing steps after the competition, either here or dig up that before & after thread.
