Samsung Galaxy S Phone Memory seems to have been deleted somehow?

    Hi,

    I have a Samsung Galaxy S and it went dead there a few hours ago, just got around to charging it now but the thing is now it seems that all my phone numbers/apps/messages etc that I had saved on my phone are gone.

    I am no expert on phones at all but it seems that the some of the phones internal memory has been deleted somehow :(

    Has this happened to anyone before?
    Is there anyway to fix it?
