I'm not sure if there are any specific qualifications to get you into it but anyone I know who has entered it came from a business/accounting/finance degree background.

If you aren't already working as an accountant you could look at starting ACCA or CIMA or consider a business degree.

If you have some other form of degree I would suggest looking at a post graduate conversion course into accounting.

You don't need a specific qualification to get started.
And you don't even need a college degree to get the job

If you're interested in going down the accounting road then start as soon as you get off probation, these companies will pay towards your qualifications and give study leave
