Clams as bait ?

    While out digging lugs today I came across alot of saltwater clams .Can these be used at bait and does anyone have any experence with them?

    I've tried them and never found them much good.
    Better than nothing but only just
    Crabs seem to like them

    Ya i used them two nights in a row for bass and caught nothing but common crab.Ah well you live and learn.
