Possible Move to England/Child Allowance

My partner is looking at work in London.

My question is, if we were to move do we still get child allowance?

I have a six month old, who was born in Ireland and I am due my second child early next year, therefore if we were to move my second baby would be born in England.

Do both children automatically qualify for child allowance in England ?

(sorry I am probably wording this very awkwardly)....

    Thanks

    Y

    Hi
when you move you will be able to apply for child benfit (thats what they call it in England).
Have a look at www.direct.gov.uk and search for child benefit.

You may also be entitled to child tax credits (this is more like FIS) (Tax credits in UK are called tax free alowances).

Again search that site I gave you and all should become clearer.
