    It looks like it should, assuming that you have a VGA output on the laptop and RCA/phono or S-Video inputs on the TV. You usually have to press a key combination (like Fn+F8 on my Dell) to switch the display over.

    ye have the in and out puts,
    i got a cable with vga male to rca yellow and s video female and it didnt work ,
    that why im asking
    done the key combo but the image on screen was un readable

    for anybody who wantng to know , i got it and hooked into my ubuntu netbook and worked with no problems of configuration , the only prob was the picure wasent clear , had a few spec of dots in a line running through the picture , but picture was readable
