Hi I've just been told today that you can't get BTEA for a masters... I thought as long as your progressing you can get it even if it's from level 8 to level 9?

Does anyone know if you can get BTEA for a masters?

    Only for H Dip....

    Postgraduate courses

You may get the Back to Education Allowance for a postgraduate course of study that leads to a Higher Diploma (H.Dip.) qualification in any discipline or a Graduate Diploma in Education (primary and secondary teaching). Other types of postgraduate qualifications are not recognised for BTEA.

K, I see. A lecturer told me before that I could get BTEA if progressing... (and he knew I was talking about progressing to a masters). Anyway I guess he was wrong. Such a balls for me though.

    Well thanks for replying.
