Nitelink tickets

Does anyone know if I get the 7n nitelink from the pick up point in Ballsbridge can I pay for the ticket on board the bus? The only places that sell tickets are in town by the looks of it.

As far as I know, you can pay for the Nitelink on board, but in coins only.
