walker saorview box

    help needed installed a walker stb today tuned in the stations what i am left with on the screen is a half blue screen and the channel playing in the other half what have i done wrong . i have pressed all the buttons on the remote with no effect also pulled out the plug no joy ,help please:)

    Can you try it with another TV? How is it connected to the current TV?

    its connected by a hdmi cable dont have another tv the tv is a walker tv :)

    Hi, I am new to boards and what made me join was reading about walker set top boxes . I bought one recently and after 30 mins it turns itself off . I checked all the settings but still does . I was also foolish enough to buy one of there tv's and it takes 50 seconds to load Aertel . I had enough at that stage and rang walkers and for the tv they are sending me out an upgrade in a USB stick when I have that I am going to ring again about the set top box turning off.

    Hi, just recently got the walker saorview box. regarding the recording function, does anyone know is is possible to change the channel while recording as when i am recording one channel it does not allow me to change to another. this defeats the purpose of recording...

    I have the same problem. The pause function is not working properly either. It will pause, but it doesn't resume playing from when it was paused. Instead it goes back to live tv.

    Try a SCART cable instead and see what happens?

    Sounds like PIP is switched on on your TV.
