    This is probably a very very stupid newbie question but I'd feel stupider if I didn't ask!

    I have a job interview tomorrow for a job I'd love to get. The interview is in Dublin but the job itself is in Cork. It's a customer facing sales role I suppose, a product demonstrator. In the email I got that confirmed the interview time it says
    "Please note it is business dress for the interview"

    :confused::confused::confused::confused::confused:

    What exactly is business dress. I'm a 21 year old student and this will be my first real interview I suppose. Will a black trousers and a white shirt do or will they be expecting more?? I don't really have time to go shopping and it was really late notice anyway! :/ I felt really really confident about my chances until i got this email. :o

    Any hints or tips?? Thanks! :)

    Unless otherwise stated... formal, formal, formal. Suit, long sleeve shirt, tie, slacks, shoes. Equivalent formal attire for women.

    Yep its pretty much full suit. If you haven't got one then buy yourself a nice lookin shirt, tie and suit trousers, slacks and white shirt might look to waiter lookin, you want to come across as a business man. I think you can pick up cheap suits 50-60 in Tesco.

    Best of luck

    A dress suit, or whatever you call them. Tie? I'm actually not sure. Just dress foral and you won't go far wrong. Personal preference is black, but brown would be ok. I'd stay away from the bright colours:)
