    Of the two, the KTM has the better components (Tiagra/105) over the Trek (sora) and probably more gears. On paper, it probably better.

    Size wise, both might do but you need to try them to be sure.

    Purchased a Trek 1.2 earlier this year and while it's an excellent bike I can't help thinking that if I could turn back the clock I would pay that bit extra for bike with 105 components, so in a word I would say KTM.

    I recently got the KTM strada 2000 and love it, great bike havent don much onit yet 3 x 40kms but love the bike, takes a while to get used of the saddle tough!

    Absolutely agree, i had 1.2 for 2 weeks this summer but i got on a 2.1 with 105 components and its so much better. You'd still get very good trade in value for your own tho in a decent bike shop!

    KTM ... looked at one of these in bike shop in Killarney the other day, its lovely looking bike. They're better value than similar priced Giant's and Trek's

    ya the KTM's are great value for Money and have a decent spec / paint jobs :)
