    Does anyone know where to pick up KG solvents. ideally in Dublin/Wicklow area. Thanks

    What is their unique selling point that Hoppes or any of the other traditional products over here have?
    Is there anything that they have that is really good?
    I'm interested as I've never even heard of anyone using them here to date

    I dont know anyone near dublin selling it but Jim Griffin from midliand sells them..... Im sure someone here knows his contact details as I dont have them to hand.

    IMO Price. It is better then hobbs or your standard gunshop stuff but ive not found it to be great to be honest. There GunKote is poor when compared to others on the market.

    I have been using Pro Shot copper solvent IV and it is better at removing copper fouling than any other product that i have tried and it is harmless to the bore of the rifle and it does not contain Ammonia . Dont think its great at removing Carbon so i was trying to get some KG-1 carbon remover and KG-12 copper remover is similar to Pro Shot IV so i was going to try it.
