So the thing I want is to get a good education (good job and well paid) I know this sounds kind a crazy spontaneous.
Yeah this year 6th year I made the decision to study hard and go to the college - do things that will make my future happy. I'm good at -Technical Graphics , ok in geography business and maths !! So I just want to find the right college and course for me I was thinking The Engineer [computer engineer] ( what do u think about that?) qualifax.ie is good for searching the right thing but I dont know how to use it :( .. Im expecting to get 320 points in Leaving cert ... Which wud be a good choice for me I realy dont know how to do a perfect decision that I don't regret what I have done later..

well firstly..this should be in the leaving cert thread. not DCU.

And my advice is you have basically the whole school year about it. You will change your mind every week. So don't worry about it too much yet. CAO isn't even open yet? So once you can open a CAO account thingy you should start worrying about it..

You'd realistically want to aim for 350/360 points to get Computer Applications/Enterprise Computing in DCU. Just start studying now and keep practising.

Maybe try using career directions to see what careers are suited to you. Also sounds like you need a chat with your careers teacher, who should be able to explain how to use Qualifax.
get a ton or prospectuses and go to open days. Leaving cert forum might be better help too.

Don't dive into computer science without looking into it though. If the qualifax website is giving you trouble then it may be a big step for you. Computer Applications is a very tough course so don't let the low points be deceiving. It's very logic, maths based and the work load is constant. However, this work pays off as Ireland is now home to a growing IT industry so the job prospects for a graduate is good. If you do end up in CA just keep the work up and don't slack.
