Squeaky Brakes?

I recently got a new car but after a week of driving I noticed a problem. It seems like the front brakes are squeaking. I used to notice it when I was in low gears driving around towns, but then I started hearing it when I was driving on motorways.

Its especially bad when I come from a high speed, i.e. a motorway, into a roundabout. It seems turning the car makes it worse! I brought it in to get serviced, the guy said he didnt know what was wrong with them so he just cleaned them, but now it seems it has made them worse.

He did say that they were newish brake pads, but would that cause such an irritating noise? Could it be something besides the brakes, or is there any solution to this problem?

    Thanks.

A smear of copper grease behind the pads should cure it if its just brake squel
There maybe a stone stuck in the caliper.

some times cheap brake pads do squeak, get original brake pads(once there is original brake discs).
