If you subscribe on the iPad to the BBC iplayer for €6.99 for the month and download episodes do you then still have the downloads the following month if you don't subscribe again?

From the faqs of the app
Can I use the BBC iPlayer iPad app when I am not connected to the internet?
When you are offline you will only have access to completed downloaded episodes. You will need to be a subscriber in order to download and will have access to that content for as long as your subscription is valid.

How they know if your sub is valid when you are offline I'm not sure.
