Just thought I'd post about wireless stats needing batteries. I've not replaced any batteries yet in any transtmitters I installed ,but I know they're due to be renewed soon.

I'd say when the heating is on the stats get used more because of the cycles they go through ,so keep in mind they might need batteries soon after the new season starts.
I think a lot of stats take AA batteries ,might be handy to stock up on the 24AA packs they sell.

    Thats it ,
    Captains log ,yeah right.

And it's not just 'wirelsss' stats that need batteries, digital stats need them as well.

By the way, does a wireless stat need re-programming if the battery goes dead. I presume its the wired receiver part that holds the comms settings.

The receiver holds the signal on the danfoss stuff ,don't know about the others.

Hi Yoshytoshy my old friend :). I know you will know this . Sorry to the persons above for asking questions on your question

I took a door off in one of the rooms so thats why iam noticing it only now when my heating is not on at the clock then you know my thermostat has no means to switch on the boiler when the tempreture drops. So when this happens my danfoss hard wired thermostat keeps on switching every 5 or 10 minutes because the thermostat picks up that the heat hasnt gone yet and temperature not improved. This switching sound can be a pain in the BUTT at 3 am when you lying in bed .

What do you thing is it normal or fualty ?
