i7 build?

I need a pc with an i7 processor, it doesn't need to be too fancy in any other departments but the faster the better in the processor dept.
Where could i buy something like that or would i be better off building it?

What is the minimum cost for such a machine?

Its for video transcoding btw.

Do you need windows?
What about graphics? - Will the transcoding rely on GPU hardware? Any games?

That's about the cheapest you'd want to go. That's unassembled and no screen/keyboard/mouse. That site is hardwareversand, very popular around here. They only take bank transfers or paypal (+ an extra 3%). They will assemble it for you for €20 but it's not difficult if you want to try it yourself and people on the forum are always willing to help.

This build uses integrated graphics which is sufficient for standard desktop functions, HD videos and light games.
