me and a friend of mine are meeting up in Singapore for the grand prix in 2 weeks time. we've bought our tickets separately. neither of us have been to a race before so we're unsure, and worried, about seat allocation in the Bay Grandstand. i know there are different 'zones'. if we just show up together will be allocated…

me and a friend of mine are meeting up in Singapore for the grand prix in 2 weeks time. we've bought our tickets separately. neither of us have been to a race before so we're unsure, and worried, about seat allocation in the Bay Grandstand. i know there are different 'zones'. if we just show up together will be allocated seats side by side, be allocated pre-determined seats or can we just choose our own seats in any zone?

i hope someone can put my mind at ease. any help or advice is greatly appreciated.
