One Way Reflective Window Film

    These are fairly good for making your home private in that you can see out though the window but nobody can see in. They also seemingly limit uv light, heat from the sun etc.

    Has anyone actually got these put on your windows?
    Does the outside now look darker from inside?
    Would it not be colder in the winter because heat from the sun is limited??

    They work the opposite way round at night, ie people can see in and you can't see out, I believe. They do filter UV and would consequently reduce the radiated heat available inside for warmth.

    I'm interested in these films also;
    1. Reduce summer overheating
    2. Privacy in daytime when curtains are open

    I can't see the films doing much for keeping heat in.
    Here's one I was looking at on ebay
