looks like a defective gpu to me. what laptop is it? exact specs. is it onboard or discreet card?

run furmark on Max torture settings and see if anything pops up.

    i5 2500 proccessor
    8gb Ram
    GeForce GT530

i can run any other game BFBC2 , CoD , L4D etc and there is no problems
run furmark on Max torture settings and see if anything pops up.

Check your GPU temperatures when you run the game. It could be running too hot and causing artifacts ingame

Anything over 80 and I'd be worried, especially for a low power consumption graphics card like yours

Furmark is a gpu torture test program. Google it and download. Note the temps too.

Ah. this happened with me on my laptop. It happened to me because I had AA and anisotropic filtering turned on for minecraft in the nvidia control panel.

Yep, looks more like you're forcing some fancy hardware settings in the drivers that Minecraft is having a severe disagreement with :o

Without being on my laptop I cant give an in-depth description.
I remember accessing it by right click on the game icon, going to graphics processor and clicking on "change default *something*"
