Facebook crashing every 5 min.....

    on the new IS setup computers.... or is it just me?

    maby its IS's subtle start to banning FB on campus, which im 99% in favour of!

    just the usual IE on all the computers, keeps closing the tab and restarting,
    in usher and artsblock
    so it is just me then?
    could be the chat sidebar disabler thing i have installed at home? unlikely tho....

    The same thing happened to me last night at home!! I also have the chat disabler installed so it seems likely that this is the cause then

    This has happened to me before with IE, I just used Firefox instead (which is on the computers in the Hamilton anyway, it's just not the default browser) and it was fine...

    Facebook's been really slow on my laptop today too, so it's probably the site and not ISS after all...

    You should try out Firefox Portable, just install it on a flash drive or you college network storage and you never need to worry about using IE again. Handy for passwords, bookmarks etc. as well.

    Dunno would not using IE fix the problem but it would probably help.
