audio out on SEG telly?

    got one of those SEG tv's from argos a few years back, no matter what i do i cannot enable the rca audio out from the set, when i go into the menus i get the 4 usual, tv ,picture, sound,and features, nothing in any of these but there is a toolbox option that the remote skips over everytime. so is there a service mode on these SEG's or what? and does anyone know how to get into it.

    so into factory mode and theres an option "audio carrier" under audio setup and it has enabled the outputs but only static coming out of them?? if i change a tuner channel it drops the sound for a second like a channel change should(no channels tuned in) but when i switch to hdmi its still just static, any ideas?
