The Local Scabby Shopkeeper Nearly Got Me A Slap Off The Mother...

When i was about 7 or 8 my mam sent me up to the local shop (we live just outside a middling size town) to get a carton of milk, cant remember exact prices, but she lets just say she gave me one pound, and the milk was £1.20. So off i went on my bike to complete the mission..... but when i got to the shop and she seen i didn't have enough for the whole carton she opened the milk up and poured some of the milk out, closed up the carton and sent me on my merry way without ever really flinching...back to a disgusted mother who thought i drank some out of it, and made the whole thing up?
I didn't really realize how incredibly scabby it was at the time?
Has anyone out there had as scabby ordeal as this?

Man asks for burger and chips. Colm Meaney says "£2.20", the lad says "i only have £2". Meaney opens up the wrapper and takes a bite of the Burger, then says "£2"...
    Classic...

Have you ever tried counselling to help you get over this traumatic episode in your childhood?

We used to get the glass bottles to bring to the shop ( you would get like 10p) I was 4... got to the shop with glass bottle, dropped it, smashed it and peed myself ( I was 4 ok before the boards.ie juvies get excited) and was there to contribute whatever my big sis had in change equaled with the smashed bottle redemtion the total of the transaction....
Said shopkeeper was like no feck off, he not only had to clean up smashed glass but also bits of pee, and we still didnt get what we were sent for....
Bar Stewards, the lot of them

I'm 10, I had to walk to the shop, five miles. It was me who eat half the sandwich, I lied to my mother.
