Just wondering what ye all think about the volkswagen caddys?? The brother is looking at an 07 one but some people have said they arent up to much!! I had an 02 one a few years back and it never gave me a days trouble but the new shape seems to be different!! Anyone own one? Any trouble? What to look out for? And are they still cheap to run as the older model?
    Cheers for any replys!

The older ones were more reliable.

They give trouble with clutches and flywheels, also the turbos are a common failure on them.

My one was hard on diesel and it was hard on tyres too.

    Just out of curiosity
The new ones that are giving trouble, are they the 2.0 engine or the 1.9.
