    i bought an item on line from china, it is of poor quality and faulty the seller is not helpfull and says i cant send it back does anyone know what i can do?:confused:

    Online shopping can be a nightmare for some , and is definately a learning experience .
    I hope you did'nt pay a huge amount for this item.

    Some Chinese websites have a facility , where payment must be agreed by you , before the funds are released .- Login and check if this is applicable in your case .

    Either way , you need to talk / process a claim through your payment service provider .

    But first , communicate directly with the seller and try to thrash out a compromise .

    You have something like 45 days from your payment date to lodge a claim with most payment service providers .

    You can open a dispute for item not as described. Paypal will ask you to return the item by registered mail (which you'll be out of pocket for) and you'll get a refund when it's returned :)
