    Hey,
Looking for a journalist to investigate the county counsil of carlow and its dealings with a certain individual, very good story if someone wants to make a name for themselves.

Also a one way ticket to libel court if the accusation can't be substantiated.

Yellow pages should have The Times and Indo numbers. Google is your friend.

I've edited the title just to remove any potential libel issues.

Newsrooms all over the country get these calls all the time and I'd be wary of them.
Invariably they are from people with a serious grudge over something. They want a journalist to spend time looking into accusations which they think are major issues.
Sometimes the information is worth something but more often then not it's just a lot of work for someone to do and is of little benefit or interest to readers or to the wider community.
    Just my tuppence worth.
