Customs Duty

I want to buy from an Asian online clothing store (yesstyle.com if anyone is interested) and i'm just wondering if anyone has experience with buying online from Asia.
I'm a bit afraid I'll get an extra fee from custom duty. I bought makeup online from the US and got charged 70€ from taxes, but only found out they had charged me once my package arrived.
I emailed the website and they said they cannot guarantee the orders will be free from customs duty because it is the sole authority of my local Customs Authority.

Does anyone know anything about this sort of thing?
    Thanks
