Embarrassing sex issue

Regular poster going unregged for this one. I did a look back through old posts, possible there's a thread that duplicates this one but I couldn't find a close match really. Essentially I've had difficulty during my last two sexual encounters of achieving penetration. I have a very thick penis, and it's always been a bit of an issue, finding condoms that fit, etc,. But I thought I was past that but as I said the last two girls it just hasn't happened.

I know people will suggest that lube is the answer and the girl being relaxed, etc, and that is true, it's worked before in relationships. But on both occassions it was early enough in the process, within the first few days of knowing them and the last thing I wanted to do was reach for the lube as such. I suppose I'm just looking for some hints and tips maybe, just a bit disheartening. And mods, feel free to merge this with a similar thread if you like.

The only thing you can really do is use lube, if you talk sexually with the people before you have sex with them then say it to them in a jokey yet serious way. It's not like it's that awkward a situation if you are doing the horizontal tango with someone it's not really a big deal to be using lube.

OP as far as I know you can get condoms that already have a certain amount of lube on them. Maybe you could give them a go?Less embarrassing than having to produce the bottle

you mentioned the condoms as well, this is crucial, too tight and it can ruin any hope you have. Those durex ribbed ones are a strangler at 52 nominal width, which seems to be a standard. 56mm on the extra safes is a bit better. trojan xls are at 64mm. size up, and see how you get on.

I think sexual position is extremely important.
Do an online search to get some tips.
From personal experience on the receiving end, I think side by side (spooning) would be most comfortable to get things started.
From behind can enhance the size of the penis, I find you have to be very ready for it.

Thanks for the response but it's not really an issue with losing an erection, I've used the wider condoms and they're fine, not cutting me off or anything. It's more of a it just won't fit kind of thing.

Thanks, I have brought it up with both before but I think there's a fine line between being jokey and being a bit cocky, pardoning the pun. But I suppose you're right, perhaps the best way to do it is just to be brutally honest and maybe kill the passion for a few moments, thinks that's just the worry, that a girl will turn around and be a bit weirded out by it. But that's a silly view to have I suppose. Thanks guys!

I hear you. You can't really mention your size beforehand. Try the Trojan Magnum XL..they are the biggest I could find. I've noticed now with the two most recent partners that either foreplay needs to be really drawn out or I've got to use some lube which kind of kills it for me. It's a bit crappy but tends to be good for her now at least...

I'm the same, durex XL are a good fit though. Ordinary condoms are just passion killers for me, way to tight and too hard to get on. lube is a good idea too.

Not every man and every woman will 'fit'' there are a range of sizes of both men and women, so it's possible that those two ladies were just not compatible.

Thanks again guys, but it's not a condom issue. The XLs have 8 inches in girth I think. I'm about 7 along the shaft so they're fine. I like the suggestion for positions, generally first time with a new girl is missionary but maybe I should rethink that.
