Anyone tried inserting their iPhone microsim into an iPad and use their data allowance? Specifically vodafone users as vodafone dont allow customers to use the hotspot feature on iphone unless they pay.

Yes, do it all the time, with at least a dozen -odd SIMs, including Vodafone IRL.

May not work with US&A SIMs, as SJ once said, but it does with European ones.

Except Orange France.
