    Same thing happening here, have yawned three times since reading the title and fighting another one off right now.... it beat me - 4 yawns. Agh! There's something about that word! I'm really struggling not to do another one now. Agh! It's happened again. Must end post. Must leave thread. No more!!

    It is! Something to do with our instinct for self preservation. Yawning brings in lots of oxygen, so helps wake you up a little bit. In a group situation, if one person yawns, it'll cause other people to, and so wake them all up a little bit, so they could be more alert to danger/attacks. Yawning quite a lot as I type this.
