apart from the obvious lenght am not really....
one is the CQB (shorter) version of the other.
after that you have the maufacturer difference.
the more you pay the more you get in most cases
they both use the same mags, parts receivers etc..

Just looking at the stocks I would guess one is rear wired ( battery in stock crane type) and one is front wired , And as stated allready one is qcb

They're all just variations of the same weapon with different barrel lengths to suit different combat situations. The M4A1 is a "standard" sized assualt rifle, the carbine is basically the same rifle but with a shorter barrel and the comando variation has an very short 11.5 inch barrel. The CQB is a short barreled version meant for close quater fighting, usually in an urban environment and has RIS rails to attach accesories like red dot sights, lasers etc.

it looks like a classic army base gun with aftermarket (magpul possibly) fore grip and stock. the trigger guard and the pistol grip are extras aswell.

if its an older CA gun, then yes it would be a good gun with a strong gearbox.

2nd hand so its hard to tell...
im only taking about new guns.

but as alan said it does lok like a CA and i do have one of those exact guns and i am quite happpy with it. has seen alot of rounds going through it and it has never let me down.
if it has a stock gearbox or close to it id say its quite good to be honest

how much is it going for, thats the key, there was one on here for 150 euro without the magpul parts.
magpul parts can be expensive. the 3 sand coloured parts are the stock the hand guard and the pistol grip, the trigger guard is the little piece below the trigger that looks like it was a straight piece that was bent.

the standard piece IS straight, the bent bit allows more room to get gloved fingers in.
they dont realistically do anything other then look good.
the classic army guns of the age i reckon that is, will have a stong gearbox in them with steel gears. y own one, i bought way back in 2007 and the gears and still fine.

ah, okay, i was thinking you meant airsoft gun the way you phrased that.

if he has the standard parts he took off aswell, i'd consider it a decent enough deal,
again, depending if its a classic army or something else.

the tip of the barrell, the mag, and the markings and upper reciever shape all look like a classic army gun.

If it's a GFC gun, then it's fairly decent - They have pretty good gearboxes and externals are nice.

i think its classic army , the first one is a classic army , then compare it to the second one (that i dont no what make it is) they look the same apart from sign and magpul kit and it has the same writing which i think classic army has

Okay, I don't know how everyone can tell what make a gun is by looking - I don't have a clue :o There is a difference in the tip of both guns though. It may just be a chipped but of the bottom one seems to have a little cut-out at the very front of the muzzle.

That isn't a chip, that's the shape of the flash hider.
Itsthe same as mine on my classic army. As is the sprung delta ring style.

Cqb just refers to the way the gun looks and the way the stock slides from long to short.
The size. The gearbox will still be the same.

the only real reason you're going to see who make all these guns is by eithre opening them up and checking parts for names or common parts or by looking for names on the bodies. for example most M4's are metal and all look pretty much the same with trades on them, the G&G Raider is a relatively cheap Nylon Fibre M4 made to compete witht he Chinese market, it has no trades but instead says G&G complete airsoft gun on the mag well. Other than that most other M4/M16's varients look the same and unless there is a definite tell tale sign of one company definitely making the specific gun there is no way to tell. all your doing here is putting two guns side by side and looking for similarities.
