Tesco online shopping

Ok, I have been trying to get this for a while. I am registered with them but they say that I am too far out of the catchment area to have home deliveries even though the tesco home delivery van delivered to one of my neighbours only a few weeks ago. The van is always in the vacinity of my house!
I have contacted them and gotten onto a girl in the UK who rang the Waterford store and they said that I was too far out, I told her the Clonmel store was closer- half the distance of the Waterford store and she said she will contact them. This seems to be alot of hard work, surely they have some better way of organising this?
I am going on maternity leave in the next few weeks and I think it would be really handy.
Does anyone know what mileage catchment the stores have? Its just annoying it is taking so long to sort out when they are already delivering in my estate :-(
She said she won't be back to me before Monday....

All stores have a map in the home shopping section detailing what area they cover.

It will be faster to forget england and call the Clonmel store and ask for the Home shopping manager, give your address and they will be able to confirm if you can get a delivery.

Without postcodes its really hard to convey your location over the internet or over the phone.

The stores dont seem to have a milage limit, more a time limit, the delivery slot is within 2 hrs so the furthest away can only be 50 /55mins away.

Ya, I think I will do this now. To be honest with you I didn't think that you would know which store its coming from when you order online!

Right, we have never heard of the problem your having. I'm really sorry, maybe try deleting you clubcard until you get a delivery. And then add it in later.

    You have us stummed.

When you sent it up initially is there an address reasonably close to you that you can see? This happened me,said i was outside the area but delivered a couple of miles down the road. I went into the store and explained that. They said put that as my address, then when giving instructions for how to get to house direct them from there. Hope this makes sense to you

Oh ya, I see what you are saying. I will start a new account in my husbands name and see how that goes. Thing is our address is actually showing up!!
    Thanks!

That might work, also try not putting in any club card for the time being, you can always add it later.
