    Afternoon all.

Im bringing herself to the Kenmare Park hotel for the weekend. Anyone been there? Any ideas on good things to see in that part of the country?

if you have a car, killarney national park is the obvious attraction (muckross house, ladies view etc), kemare is also part of the ring of kerry if that drive takes your fancy

Thanks Rossie, ive done all that National park stuff but herself might like a look. I was thinking about heading to Dingle or even south to Bantry. Im a bit of a seafood fan so im hoping for some good local catch of the day.

Oh, what is the best way to go from here in Leitrim? I was thinking Athlone - Birr - Limerick?

last time we travelled to that part of the country we did the more scenic route, galway, lahinch, got the killimer ferry, tralee and then down into killarney, as well as the killarney region you then have a chance to see the cliffs of moher, the burren, aillwee caves etc so i think its probably worth the extra few miles on the journey, we stayed the night in lahinch, lovely little village

southwest cork, especially the area around mizen head is really lovely is you get the chance to go down there
