    Hi

Went to pick up some healthy lunch at Tesco Baggot Street this morning on my way to work and the sweets and chocolate shelves were full of yellow stickers. Loads of items had reduced prices, much better than half price in most cases. I left with a soup and a brown roll.... and a bag full of junk (for the kids, of course :p)
    Smarties pouch (175g): 1.29
    Galaxy Halzenut: 99c
    Tesco Giant choc buttons: 89c
    Lindt double milk choc: 1.02

There was much more (jellies, chewing gums, Rollo's pouches, Tesco's own sweets....), also some boxed chocolates like Thorton's and Bewleys truffles.

I checked the prices online and they are unchanged, so I think it only applies in some of the stores. They might be clearing some lines out to make space for new junk goodies for Christmas

Which Tesco branch on Baggot Street - the one near Baggot Street Bridge or the one near Doheny & Nesbitts?

The one nearest to St Stephen Green. There is a café Voila! near it (very good coffee and scones, by the way :D)

    This is a scam.

Tesco has just signed up a deal with the Irish Dental Association. :p

:D My dentist commented how her business has been booming lately: the recession pushes people to eat more junk. Ah well, they also have good deals on toothbrushes and toothpaste...
